Spectraply Collection

Aroundsquare’s Spectraply Collection is a growing series of some of our popular designs, built from laminated "spectraply" wood: dense layers of colour, shaped and polished to reveal topographic patterns through the contours. Individual items are released one at a time.

Note that all items in the Spectraply Collection are made from wood, and should be treated with appropriate care. Like all wood items, they are prone to getting scratched or dinged up if dropped on rough surfaces or carried with sharp items.. avoid getting them wet etc. all the usual precautions. 

Knucklebone – Maple Spectraply

The Spectraply Knucklebone is done up in our OG Knucklebone shape–the original Knuckleroller, and time tested since its introduction in 2017. In the spectraply material, each piece differs slightly depending on how the layers meet the form, with stripes that shift and bend across the surface rather than reading as a flat pattern. These Kbones have been polished to bring out colour and contrast, without feeling slick or plasticky. They keep a distinctly wooden feel, and like all wooden Knucklebones, they have the beauty, charm, and vulnerabilities of wood. These are perfect for anyone who loves natural wood, but wants a little extra funk in their carry.
