Remeshok Chetki - Polymer Beavertail Editions
The Beavertail Edition of our popular Remeshok chetki feature an elongated end bead, tapered to a stout thickness at the outer end, and rounded for a comfortable experience.
The Beavertails are thus named not because they particularly look like beavertails.. but rather, based on the naming convention for longer, thinner canoe paddles, because they're super slappy (as you'll soon find out), and also, obviously, because Canada, eh. They have a sleek appearance, but it's not just aesthetics. These extended ends have a somewhat surprising effect of locking the ends into place between the fingers. They are narrow enough to slip through the fingers with ease, but when there is tension at an angle, the beads act like a lever. This effectively prevents them from slipping through the fingers when you don’t want them too, and also creates a springiness as the tension is absorbed and released during play.
Since the Beavertails are longer than any end beads we’ve launched to date, we’ve found it wise to shorten up the length of the joining section between the ends. For the Beavertail mods, we’ve trimmed it down to 16+2 (compared to the 17+2 configuration of the original Remeshoks). The overall length in each case is similar.
Black Ultem
While we’ve been talking about Black Ultem since the launch of our 2025 Kickstarter campaign, the Beavertail Remeshoks chetki are the first products in this material to hit the AO2 storefront. The beautiful black material packs all the lightweight crispness that you love about Ultem, into a sleek black material that is at home in any setting and any EDC spread. The light weight of the Ultem material works beautifully with the Beavertail form factor, making it snappy and clacky to flip, while maintaining stability in the hand and between the fingers due to the long, end-weighted Beavertail ends.

Delrin
The Delrin material is just so good. The weight and feel are awesome, and the solidness of the lengthy beavertail end plates delivers a terrifically satisfying clack. These beads are slightly heavier than the acrylic and ultem versions, giving just a little extra momentum during play. The finish is only slightly polished, and has a soft grip to it that is noticeably different from the other polymers.

Acrylic Swirl
Lightweight and resilient materials are extremely well suited for chetki. Add to that a bit of grip, and you're off to the races. This month we are excited to launch our exceedingly popular beavertail chetki, a mod of our original remeshok design, in the glorious new acrylics we've sourced. These beautiful sets are rounded and polished to perfection. They play light and fast, with excellent grip to keep them from flying off the fingers, and those "beavertail" ends that anchor between the fingers so well.
Clear Acrylic
Clear acrylic has been a favourite for a long time, and we go way back to the early introduction of our clear acrylic “ice” knucklebones back in 2018 or so. The material is light, durable, and beautiful, as well as being relatively inexpensive compared to a lot of the other options.
Clear Acrylic Beavertails are available in your choice of a lovely soft machine finish, or a grippier and brighter polished finish. Please be aware that polished pieces don’t hold their polish indefinitely, and will scratch up relatively quickly. Although the material has a good hardness, it is nonetheless a plastic and even a loud noise is likely to scuff them a little. All pieces are shipped new but may have small abrasion marks on them from the post production handling and assembly process. Any pieces with major scratches will be kicked out by our team before packing, but we ask for your understanding of smaller shallower marks, particularly on the long end pieces.

Ultem
Ultem has been a massive crowd favourite since we first starred producing products in it, despite being significantly pricier than other polymer materials. It is durable and lightweight, though slightly heavier than acrylics, but what really distinguishes ultem is the characteristic amber colour.

An absolutely delightful play experience—love the lightness, plays quick, feels effortless—-cannot put it down
The Ultem feels absolutely incredible in hand – pure dream material. The machined finish complements it perfectly, and the black version elevates the whole piece even further. Craftsmanship, feel, and design are all on point. Easily 10/10. Outstanding work.
There is no surprise or comparison when it comes to quality and finish.
Matt truly hits this one "on the nose" with sheer precision, great price point and connection with what truly resonates.
Not only auditorily, but also the fine "stim" with each Clack, bead counting, snappy rebounds & if you lace with an extra mm. or so on top of a single bead space of slack, rain-drops are possible. For more noticeable & very satisfying weight distribution and sound feed-back, highly recommend Ti. inserts, expansion packs. They seriously make a subtle, yet very noticeable change in manipulation & a more gutteral "stack" while releasing rain-drops, if setup with more weight outwardly.
10,000/10 colours & material speaks for itself.
Also flipped them beavertails inward for a solid shelf to purchase grip onto and a pinstripe-end for "flicks" while slangin' bangin'
Don't knock it 'til you try it
Peace

As someone who loves Ultem, I knew I'd love this set. This was also my first chetki with the Beavertail ends, and it did not disappoint. Compared to my Acrylic Remeshok with OG ends, the beavertails are a bit more end-weighted, and that combined with the bigger ends make the chetki a little bit easier to control. The set is still lightweight like the Acrylic (which I like), but it plays a lot differently. If you're into Ultem, or haven't tried the Beavertail ends, this set won't disappoint.
Excellent quality but a little light for my taste. Still glad to have it!
