Podushka Chetki - Delrin Editions

The Podushka Chetki feature a more traditional size and shape compared to our sportier Remeshok design, without sacrificing much in terms of playability. The more substantial sizing of the beads gives them great presence in the hand, and makes them a terrific option for players wanting to switch between flipping and lower key bead counting or randrops.

The machine finished delrin sets contrast to the existing models (acrylic and wood) both in terms of their heavier weight, and their softer feel. Delrin, particularly when machine finished, has a warm, welcoming feel that has made it a favourite for many players in our other products. The material is supremely durable and resilient, taking drops in stride and holding up to the constant abuse of flipping. One key aspect further differentiating the delrin edition from the other existing Podushkas is the slightly more angular shape of the beads. Being machine finished only, the beads have not undergone an additional polishing process which would further round out the edges and corners of the beads. As a result, the beads have retained their original shape perfectly, and while still plenty round enough to be comfortable and prevent hot spots, the shape provides an additional element of grip and tactile feedback during play. This contrasts to the more rounded acrylic model which gets its grip primarily from its glossy finish.

Delving deeper into a hobby often means exploring the roots, and thereby gaining a deep appreciation for traditional forms. Our Podushka chetki exemplify this, with design cues taken from traditional Eastern European chetki. The Podushka chetki feature rounder, chunkier feeling beads compared to our sportier Remeshoks. The name translates to “pillow” in reference to the comfortably rounded plumpness of the bead shape. The character of this design is similar in spirit to our tradcore begleri series. They have a much more traditional look and feel than our other models, and while they are not as nimble as more contemporary designs, they pay homage to the roots and will give players a chance to appreciate the features that have made chetki a daily companion for so many across Eastern Europe over the years. And as we do, we've put our own special touches into the design, making it recognizably Aroundsquare, while still channeling some traditional design language.

Hand Dyed Editions

The hand dyed delrin editions feature a fresh multi-coloured accent with a low key retro vibe. Available in both black, and white, these dyed accents provide a beautiful splash of colour, and add a distinctive flair during flipping. For fans of this colour way, we offer a matching option with our MKUltras under a separate product listing, linked here.

Addictively Satisfying – A Great First Chetki Set

I picked up the Delrin Podushka Chetki on a bit of a whim, already owning the Stainless Steel Nano MKUltras (which I love), but curious to explore something different. I was immediately hooked. The Podushka have a completely unique feel--light, smooth, and incredibly satisfying to sling. Even with just a basic repeater under my belt, I find myself reaching for them constantly.

The Delrin material feels great in the hand and makes a soft clacking sound that’s super pleasing—almost like dominoes tapping together. It gives them a quiet but tactile presence that’s hard to put down.

If you're new to Chetki or just Chetki-curious, this set is a fantastic place to start. The build quality is excellent, the price point is way more approachable than some of the higher-end titanium Remeshok sets (which are still on my wish list), and they’ve definitely earned a spot in my daily rotation. Highly recommend.

Another great product

Already own the Remeshok Chetki in different materials and this is just as fun. Went for the Delrin version. It's pretty chunky, feels great in the hand and gives a satisfying clack. If anything I would say it's slightly easier to sling than the Remeshok as it's heftier, thicker and the Delrin gives it a nice grip. Absolutely love it.

I like the horn chetki, I like the wood chetki. I love the delrin podushka chetki! The weight, the feel, everything about it!

I have many AO2 chetki in my collection. The Delrin Podushka feel heavy enough to be substantial, while still being durable to hold up to regular use and abuse. Perfect for a daily carry.

Oh man… so good. Perfect weight. Size and texture are spot on. Not my first chetki from Ao2 and I will 100% get more.
