MKUltras – 12mm Mílos Polymer Editions

The 12mm Mílos have earned their place as one of the most popular beads in the MKUltras range. They offer an optimal mid-size experience, more substantial feeling than our 10mm beads, and lower profile than the 14mm version, the 12mm Milos deliver a bold, satisfying presence both on the wrist and in play. For those who enjoy a more substantial feel, without moving into oversized territory, the 12mm Mílos strike a perfect balance between tradition, performance, and contemporary design.

Like all Mílos, these beads follow the classic apple-shaped profile originally inspired by our traditional jade Bodhis. The short, cylindrical form with heavily rounded edges and a 3mm bore creates an extremely comfortable interface for bead counting, while still offering excellent control for raindrops and packet-based play. Compared to the 10mm editions, these have a noticeably deeper clack, a slower swing, and a more grounded tactile feel, all of which add to their appeal.

This polymer lineup showcases the materials at their best. Ultem brings its iconic amber tone from the muted machined to the crisp polish. Glow POM channels soft, frosted colours with surprisingly powerful glow effects. The Clear Acrylic adds a striking glass-like clarity that catches the light beautifully, giving the beads a refined, almost gemstone-like appearance. Each material expresses the Mílos shape differently, while keeping the familiar feel that defines the Ultras.

Acrylic Editions

Appearing almost glass-like, the precision-machined, clear polished acrylic material catches the light like nothing else in our range. The beads look terrific on the wrist, and mesmerizing during play.

Ultem Editions

The warm amber hue from our Ultem is reminiscent of amber resin and natural amber stone. Whether you choose the understated frostiness of the machined finish, or the gem-like appearance of the polished version, these beads are beautiful straight out of the box, and age elegantly over time.

Glow Editions

A substantial twist on our standard polymer products, the glow POM (delrin) editions are unique in our range. In daylight, they offer a soft frosted appearance, but bring them into the darkness and discover the vibrant glow–which is particularly striking when the beads are in motion. 

Short Form

The Short Form Mílos MKUltras feature 19 of our 12mm apple shaped Mílo beads, and are designed to be worn on the wrist in a single loop. The sliding 15mm AO2 Lil' Boss bead provides a friction-fit locking mechanism to keep the set in place when worn, while sliding down to create slack when the set is being played.
