Aroundsquare's Hydra Begleri are a fun yet highly capable modern adaptation of the traditional Greek multi-bead begleri. The Mini Hydra design has been praised by elite players as one of the best begleri sets available, but it is equally great for beginners and advanced players alike. There is something special about the size, shape, weight, and multi-bead configuration that makes the Mini Hydras a favourite that players keep coming back to.
After nearly a decade of the original design, 2025 saw the introduction of minor adjustment.. an increase in the rounding around the edge of the beads--a small reflection of our incessant drive to refine and perfect even our most popular designs. The generous rounding on the beads makes them extremely comfortable to handle, and softens the impact on the hands during play.
The Mini Hydras are available in a range of material options.
Titanium Edition
The OG classic, and hands down one of our favourite and most recommended sets.. The titanium version is extremely versatile, and is good for different skill levels, hand sizes, and styles of play. The two-stack design has a nice way of softening impacts while still giving you plenty of weight and presence at the ends. Each set includes 4 Titanium Mini Hydras. Set weight: approx. 19 g. Available finishes: Natty Machined, Natty Sandblasted, Shinobi (black), Sunset (multicolour), Nightfall (black/multicolour), and ShiNatty (black/natty).

Already have the mini hydras in full Ti and zero regrets buying them in SS with glow green. The weight is perfect and the glow is amazing.
The titanium sets have always felt a bit light for me begleri wise, but the new Bronze and Ebony set sling like an absolute dream.
The titanium mini hydras were already a goated set and a standard in the begleri community. With the slight rounding of the edges this set is now better than ever!

been wanting a set of the mini hydras or mini sigmas, and was super stoked to see a huge restock of them for the sept drop. seen there was gonna be a set with bronze/ebony wood and knew i had to cop. definitely my new edc begleri set. i used a new colored cord that came with them, put them on my B Bank set, and gifted them to my 11 yo son.
