Since their introduction, the Slimini Knucklebones have quickly become one of our best-selling products. The stunning exotic metal editions take this beautiful, ergonomic design, and elevate it even further. 

Our Damascus Edition

In our quest over the past year to bring back more exotic materials into our lineup, people have been asking to bring back Damascus Steel, and the Slimini Knucklebone is a perfect match for this material.

The organic looking grains of the material accentuate the ergonomic contours of the kbone, creating an incredible topographic pattern amid a silver coloured world of beauty that is simply a joy to look at. Arguably feeling even better than it looks, in the hand is where this little beauty thrives.. the grain gives a perfect amount of grip to the knucklebone..  with a texture that makes it easy to hold onto and control, without the tacky feel that glossy, polished surfaces can take on when it's humid out.

The texture is also great for less showy manipulations, enjoying the grain as it passes through the fingers. Like our recently-released Damascus Steel Demi Planks, the Damascus Sliminis have been milled from solid billets of material, then etched to deepen the grain patterns and create that prized finish that the material is known for. The Damascus Steel Slimini Knucklebones weigh in at around 43g making them extremely fun to play, despite it being a heavier material.

Our Zircuti Edition

The elegant Zircuti material is forged from folded layers of titanium and zirconium, then precision machined, polished, and torched to create eye-popping colour patterns, reminiscent of wood grain. When machined to our specifications, the grains of the material become exposed in a way that accentuates the appearance of the curves, creating a beautiful topographic relief.

Each piece is distinct, with its own grain patterns. This edition is only available polished, with a shallow etch, giving just the faintest impression of the material texture, and a very unique feel during play. The photos provided are all unedited, and shot with bright indoor lighting, to give a true depiction of what you’ll be getting. The pieces depicted are quite representative of the range. The polished finish is durable in normal use, but will eventually show scratches and may fade through repeated contact with other pocket items etc. 

This elegant Knucklebone edition may not be for everyone due to its price point, but for those who know what they're getting into, you're bound to cherish these pieces. The weight is very similar to the titanium models - right around 49.5g (with slight variation due to the blending of layers in the billet).

General information on the Slimini Knucklebone design

Our "Slimini" Knucklebone can best be described as a slimmed down version of our extremely popular Mini sized kbone. The idea was to try to integrate the most appealing features of all three sizes of our metal knucklebones.. slimming the form factor down as much as possible to reduce weight like the micro size, approximating the length and max diameter of the mini size for a streamlined and pocket friendly size, and maximizing the length of the grip section to make the unit easy to use for people with larger hands, and to benefit from the longer weight distribution of the original size. The resulting design hits the mark on all three. While kbone selection is ultimately a personal preference, this trim unit has a lot to offer for folks looking for a minimalist, high performance roller. 

Warnings: Metal versions are heavy and solid--can break things or hurt things if dropped. It is recommended that you play over carpet, couch, or the like, or outside.
