Aroundsquare's Clutch Sling is a mid-sized carry bag designed to comfortably contain your daily essentials. Nobody likes rummaging around in overcrowded pockets, but there are lots of times when a day-pack is overkill. The Clutch is designed for those of us who just need a modest pack to carry around a little bit more than would comfortably fit in the pockets - a couple pens, a notebook, a handful of manipulatives, maybe a flashlight or a pocket knife or even a paperback. It's the perfect size to keep the key items close at hand, wherever you're going and whatever you're doing.

The Clutch Sling is a full ground up custom design and build, with all the materials and components sourced so that we could produce a top notch entry into this crowded space. It bridges the gap between wallet, gear pouch, and sling bag, in a unique style and form factor. It features a discrete built-in handle, and a unique adjustable, removable strap. It's made from heavy duty waxed 100% cotton canvas, outside and inside. It features premium metal zippers, and strap hardware. Inside, it's mostly empty space.. nothing over-engineered. It has a variety of simple internal pockets that will help keep your stuff organized, and we were quite intentional about making this bag as versatile as possible, and not simply designing it for our own gear and products. It's a general purpose grab and go bag, perfect for daily outings and keeping things organized during travel. Patches (and contents) not included.. make it your own.

Note 1 (straps): The straps are designed to stay in place once installed, and can be tight to remove (at least until the fabric is "trained" and softens up). The strap hardware has a hook designed to catch the fabric so it doesn't fall out on its own. To remove the strap, it is recommended that you use the tip of a pen or something similar to keep the fabric out of the way. Here is a short video outlining the process.

Note 1.5 (straps on grey variant): The grey bags are a second production batch, and feature a slightly more generous attachment point for the hooks. It is still secure enough that they won't fall out on their own, but makes it easier to attach and remove straps on the fly.

Note 2 (wax oils): Both the exterior and the inside lining of the clutch slings are waxed canvas. During initial use, the oils in the wax may seep into porous materials like paper products. If you have papers, index cards, or uncoated notebooks like our Pocket Slims, they may be affected. This can be mitigated by blotting with paper towels prior to use, but will diminish over time regardless as the bag becomes your own.
