For our first Chef’s Special of 2026, we’re kicking it off with something truly special. These 14mm Titanium Milos Malas are our first sets to feature our new Guru beads. These mala are truly impressive–imposing even–in their stature and presence. The beads feel incredibly substantial in the hand, and the overall weight of these sets exerts its presence. While many of our mala and ultras products are designed to be somewhat understated in their appearance and versatile in their use, these sets are neither. They are designed strictly for purpose and presence. Whatever that means for you, whether breathwork, meditation, mindfulness, or just a dedicated outlet for restlessness, these beads excel. There is just generally something very calming about clicking through these beads, feeling the weight and curvature of the beads as the move along the cord. 

The sets feature 19 of our 14mm titanium Milos beads, in either a polished or tumbled finish, and are closed off at a fixed length with one of our stunning grass Guru beads. The brass Guru, with its additional weight, is the perfect complement to these large titanium beads. 

Note that these sets are NOT first and foremost designed to be worn. The overall size and weight of these sets would be pretty cumbersome for most people’s tastes. Instead, these have been designed to be held in the hand and slipped into the pocket, or briefly up onto the wrist, when not in use. While this may seem unorthodox, the phenomena of beads as a (primarily) wearable accessory item, as opposed to a functional piece, is a relatively new phenomena. It is, of course, possible to slip them over the hand and onto the wrist, and you’re likely to find yourself doing that throughout the day when you want your hands for something else, but the length of these sets, with 19 of the 14mm Milos, will be bigger than most people would want as a wearable accessory. We invite you, of course, to remove some beads if you wish, but in the offered configuration, the extra length and weight serves as a reminder that they’re being carried not as a statement of style, but as a tool.
