Our Unknown for this month is a grey hat with a patch sewn on it, and we pride ourselves on these kinds of eloquent product descriptions. For those who participated in Cut Contra, the patch logo will be immediately recognizable.. Designed in-house by our own Tech Savant, Will T, the art features a fist with a set of begleri dangling from it. We love walking that line between propaganda and poetry, and this art is a little nod to the counter backstory of begleri, and the way that these little strands of beads–begleri, komboloi, chetki, and even mala–have contributed to the literal “counter” culture around the world. 

We’ve done tons of hats in the past, mostly flat-brimmed snap-backs. These unstructured hats hit pretty different. They’ve got all the slack and slouch you could ask for, and they won’t crease up if you shove ‘em in a bag or run over them with a truck. Just make sure your head isn’t in it at the time.
