Mala - 15mm Beads Wood Editions
Aroundsquare's take on the classic mala beads, a wearable worry bead set used around the world to focus the mind and steady the nerves. Our mala bead bracelets are uniquely strung on a natural waxed cotton cord, and accented with a nicely matched, tumbled metal head bead.
Each set consists of 15 wooden beads (15mm each) and a smaller 11.8mm metal "micro boss" bead. The adjustable closure is provided by a sliding knot, which can be tightened as needed. They are available in five varieties:
- Kusunoki (camphor) wood, with titanium head bead.
- Zebrano, with stainless steel head bean
- Cedar, with brass head bead
- Rosewood, with brass head bead

Removed three of the wooden beads, added some "standard metal" beads, and restrung to make a short-form cedar MKUltra, which is not an available option. (The "bonus bead" had a smaller bore than the included brass boss, useful as a supplemental friction lock.) Used two of the removed wooden beads to make one of the "Tradcore Begleri - Wood Editions" begleri, which have long been sold out.
Very happy with the results of both. Would prefer to buy the items directly.
The new cedar mala is my perhaps my favorite thing from the shop. It is an absolutely gorgeous piece that I can't stop staring at. As a bonus, the aroma is delicious and insanely addictive.
This cedar Mala has the perfect golden accent bead bringing the beauty together. The wood grain is presented so gorgeously that I don't ever want to take them off no matter if they outfit clash or not. The beads are a bit large for my preference but the scent really makes up for it. I could smell these for days. I hope it never fades.
