Named after the Greek titan Hyperion, the Hypes are a high performance bead design developed by longtime community member and throwing knife maker Jeremy @bullseyeblades Beintema. The design features an ergonomic curvature which is excellent for advanced tricks like bead rolls, combined with a low centre of gravity that carries great momentum without feeling "heavy". The slightly elongated shape provides great control, making the design suitable for players of all skill levels. The Hypes are available in two sizes of sand blasted gr5 titanium. The shinobi (black) variant is coloured with a durable cerakote finish.

One of my favorites!
Without a doubt the best set of Begleri I have from AO2, and the best Begleri I have in my collection full stop. Shape, overall weight, and weight distribution just make them flow effortlessly. This is the set that really just clicked for me, especially on cotton cord. I find these so much easier to use than all of my (many) other sets. Loved them so much I got a second set in Polished (first set was Sandblasted). Nice thing about the Sandblasted is that the wear just makes them look more and more beautiful over time and with use. The Polished has held up so well from clacking together that I can't see any wear on them. Wonderful set, the best AO2 do in my opinion!
Really love the look and feel, perfect weight distribution. Got mine with red kevlar.
I’m not the best at beadrolls up, but the hype fits snug in that tricky bead roll spot. I have more confidence that I’ll flow much better
