Chef's Special - Ebony Common Short Form w/Large Mangas

For this month's Chef's Special, we have collected the remaining inventory of our popular ebony Commons beads, and converted them to a special setup featuring a large Manga and a 10mm titanium accent. This setup uses just a handful more beads than our short form Ultras, but they're strung up on a long form length of cord, for a very versatile and playable set--awesome for raindrops, bead counting, and manipulative trickery, and they wear great on the wrist as well as sitting very nicely in the pocket with that tasseled end hanging out for an easy grab.

The 21 bead Commons embodiment of the MKUltras is satisfying set to carry, play, and wear. The individual Common beads have a 1:1 aspect ratio. The shape and weight of the Commons gives the beads a very distinctive and almost industrial look on the wrist, and results in a warm clacking sound during raindrops and bead counting. When manipulating the ebony version to perform tricks, they play quicker than heavier models due to the light weight of the material. The ebony large Mangas and 10mm Titanium sphere bead lock bead provides good grip and counterweight to help keep the beads from flying out of the hand.

Notes on the ebony material

The Ebony wood is a slightly harder and heavier wood, with a darker and more uniform colour, dense, nicely weighted, and has fantastically smooth grain, making it a joy to handle.

      Awesome alternate color

I got the teal delrin commons, and these have by far been my favorite set. The chef specials are always great spin offs of already amazing products.

      A tactile joy

I have had a smooth TI Deadeye in my pocket for at least 5 years but these stepped, knurled ones are just a step above. The machining is crisp and the texture is so inviting without being distracting. I can still do all my normal rolling and manipulation tricks but there is just a little extra grip. The materials range is also delightful. I did not expect to like the brass as much as I do but I knew the CU, TI, an Stainless would be great.
