Hybrid Modular Begleri

The Hybrid Modulars are the evolution of our classic Hybrid begleri. The original Hybrid begleri (still available) were designed to bring together the best features of our perennially popular Titans and Hydra begleri. The Modular version takes this concept a huge step further, by bringing in additional mix and match components that allow for a huge range of "builds", resembling many of our popular bead designs past and present, as well as others we haven't even cooked up yet. Each set comes complete with a range of "middle managers" - small disks which accent the sets and allow for further customization of weight, shape, and appearance.

The Hybrid Modulars were originally released as a "beta" in 2018, and sold out promptly. It has taken us until 2021 to complete the refinements to the designs and manufacturing in order to bring out the full release. The 2021 version features the following:

Five differently shaped structural pieces that can be combined to create various bead shapes, as well as "middle managers" in different materials, to customize weight and appearance. The components include the following:

Domes: 15mm diameter
45 Cones: 15mm diameter with 45 degree slope
30 Cones: 15mm diameter with 30 degree slope
Recessed Cones: 15mm diameter, allows for partial countersink of a knot OR inclusion of a protruding Nano Standard
Half Standards: 15mm diameter, similar to a hollowed out Hydra bead.. The recess is big enough for a small knot OR you can put a Micro Standard in there and have it partially housed

Sized down to 15mm (from original beta 16mm), to allowing more customization through the middle managers, while keeping overall weights light and nimble
Improved comfort through refinements to the rounding of each piece
3.5mm bore, suitable for 275 or 550 paracord

In keeping with the spirit of this design, the Modulars are being offered only as multi-bead mix-and-match "Slaytacular" packages at this time. Individual "builds" may be offered in the future depending on inventory. Two options are available:
