Basic Scribblers
Aroundsquare's Basic Scribblers are a carefully designed notebook, bringing together a unique range of features that reflect our refined minimalist aesthetics, and our passion for functionality and reliability. They feature a functional slim 110mm x 210mm design, which gives plenty of vertical real estate, while still being low profile enough to tuck into tight spaces. They're softcover, with a durable 300g cover, and a stitched layflat binding. They offer a full 100 pages of 80g fountain pen friendly paper, with a light 5mm grid.
While our electronic devices are truly incredible, for some purposes there's nothing that beats a solid analogue notebook. There's something about putting pen to page that is satisfying in a way that clacking the keys and swiping the screens just isn't. Analogue has persisted, in part, because of the tactile freeform versatility of ink and paper. There isn't a lot in the notebook space that hasn't been done already, but as always, AO2 likes to put a fresh spin on things with clean design and high utility. We think you'll agree these scribblers hit the sweet spot.
Hand-Painted Notebooks
The handpainted version of our scribblers features colourful abstract artwork by Matt himself. Colours are laid down patiently, in individual layers, with vertical lines of uniform width. As the layers build, the colours overlap and blend together to create a striking, textured work.
