The Micro Bosses and tradcore setups are a longtime favourite of players looking for a relaxing experience with a light, springy set. The Lil' Bosses are a solid, nimble throwback to the first beads AO2 ever produced.

The beautiful Mokume Gane material is forged from folded layers of copper, brass, and cupronickel, then precision machined, and highly polished. While the polished version does not initially have a high contrast between material layers, this will change as the materials begin to patina, and ultimately, both versions will show similar colour patterns and contrast levels.
General Info on the Micro Bosses
Aroundsquare's Micro Boss begleri series is a "back to the roots" design that resembles traditional Greek begleri more than anything else we have produced to date. The pairs of small spherical beads are a throwback to the worry beads of an earlier era, before players started getting too technical. The multi-bead design, with the bottom-heavy metal pairings makes these sets soft and springy to play, with great overall weighting. These sets feel heavier than the specified weight due to the bottom weighting of the design.
These sets play very well, and players will find that most of their tricks translate well to the design, but the goal was to create a series with a traditional vibe that supports a more laid back playing style--a departure from the small, nimble sets used for highly technical play.
General Info on the Lil' Bosses
The Lil' Bosses are about as simple as begleri can get. Although they were never produced in large quantities, these 15mm bangers were first begleri ever designed or sold by Aroundsquare. The original Lil Bosses were produced back in 2015 in very small batches. At the time, we loved everything about the design, but with an eye to the future of begleri as a skill toy and EDC item, we opted to go forward with larger beads and a range of other designs with features we knew players would appreciate as the game developed. As our product range has grown to include dozens of shapes and styles of begleri, we decided it was time to bring back this Aroundsquare original. The beads have been updated with a perfect "Goldilocks" 3.5mm bore.
