Droplet Begleri - Mixed Media Editions
Droplet Begleri - Mixed Media Editions
Our new Droplet begleri are an attractive, minimalist, and versatile set of beads. They have a comfortable shape that anchors the beads nicely in the hand during play regardless of how you set them up. They taper from a max diameter of 15mm down to a top diameter of 10mm before rounding in to the bore, much like a 10mm bead stacked on top of a 15mm. The Droplets are drilled with a 3.5mm bore making them suitable for use on our 2mm or 4mm custom cords, or on 275 or 550 paracord if you prefer.
Like the Greys, the Droplets begleri can be played top heavy or bottom heavy simply by inverting them. Bottom heavy, they feel much like the Mangas, providing great stability and anchoring the beads in the hand. Top heavy, they feel much like our Bone Fragments or Deltas, with a rounded shelf that locks them between the fingers, but a light end that moves around nimbly during technical tricks.
NOTE: In the heavier materials, these are indeed a very heavy set (see weights below). They will play heavy and slow, carrying lots of momentum, particularly if played bottom heavy. While the titanium is a fairly standard weight, the other metals are recommended only for players who are confident they will enjoy a very hefty set of begleri
